I'm from Halifax and tried looking it up as well I couldn't find anything.

I just know the cost to go into a funeral or land plot or even cremation is more than most people could afford at the moment, they said a high percentage live pay check to pay check. One would assume the people living paycheck to pay check don't have the cost to cover and it would get passed to any immediate family they are survived by.
