When Islam was an empire. They had a rule before anyone was put in charge as a governor of a region, they had to give a list of everything they own to the Caliph. When the persons term ended, they would have to make a list of everything they own again. By examining the 2 lists, they were able to see if he fattened his pockets as governor. I'm sure there were ways around it but the point is they made it a priority to stop corruption.

I told y'all the reason you can't offend Trump supporters by pointing out how Donald Trump ain't sh1t will never work...cause the supporters ain't sh1t and they look for people who ain't sh1t just like them?

Look in the thread and the reaction to this article....the fact that this guy isn't the usual Insider Stock Trading DC Crook like 99.9% of the other politicians has them all upset.

They want people who ain't sh1t to run for office

if an Upstanding, god fearing, family honoring, law abiding type citizen ran for office vs Harvey Weinstein...Harvey Weinstein would win it in a landslide victory - cause thats what these mafu#kas want in America. They love ain't sh1t type people

They really in the thread like:

He isn't taking part in insider trading like all the politicians I follow lie to me? How could this be? How can someone do this?"

Its so hard for some people here in America to accept that not everyone worships money. There are some people who don't believe in taking the part in the glutton party that is America.

I'm sure the guy has made some good money in his life, but unlike a lot of the folks we see in political positions it doesn't look like chasing after money is his thing.

Americans so used to only supporting crooks that they think anyone who JUST might not be one..is a crook.

Anyway, my last question would be does not have tsp access despite his lengthy government career? Is he not contributing? Isn't there an agency match of 1 percent or something even if he's not? Can't trust everything these people be on but looks like we got an interesting ticket
it says in the article that he gets pension money, etc

He actually has a pension as a school teacher. Enough to live comfortably but not rich. Again, a man of the people not trying to fatten his bank account.
Then why is he in politics. Don't be such a pandering jackass. He was a rep for 16 years. His networth is around $1M, the majority of his assets are in a 401k plan, but you don't have to report those. All strategic so he manipulate the simple into thinking he's "a man of the people."

Stop posting propaganda. Facts not feelings.

Walz volunteered for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. He was inspired to volunteer in the presidential election after he took a group of students to a George W. Bush rally in Mankato, and was angered by the security team's questioning of his students' politics after they saw a Kerry sticker on a student's wallet.[5] He was appointed the Kerry campaign's coordinator for his county as well as a district coordinator of Vets for Kerry.[34] In 2005, Walz completed the two-and-a-half-day campaigns and elections crash course at Camp Wellstone, a program run by Wellstone Action, the nonprofit organization Mark and David Wellstone created to carry on the work of their parents, Paul Wellstone and Sheila Wellstone.[35]

In 2006, Walz ran for the U.S. House of Representatives from Minnesota's 1st congressional district, a district that consisted of mostly Republican-leaning independents.[36][37][38] He had no opponent for the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) nomination in the primary election and was nominated as its nominee on September 12,[39] facing seven-term incumbent Republican Gil Gutknecht in the general election. Walz campaigned heavily against the Iraq war as popularity for the war was declining that year

Salzman married his girlfriend, Josie Salzman, on March 10, 2006, before he deployed to Iraq. They have since divorced. Together they have one son.

I can't d1ck ride 20 year politicians, especially when most of this thread never heard of duke before last week. One n1gga foaming at the mouth didn't even know what decade he popped up. I like to ask questions when bold claims like owns no stocks are made but that's just me. Why people are so butt hurt about asking questions of our politicians is the weird part.

The thing is most people get into politics to do good and then they become corrupted. Because its a dirty game.
You however are under the impression that 100% of the people who enter politics enter with evil intentions or else you wouldn't be asking me why a good person would enter politics.
See, what you did there was commit a logical fallacy also known as reasoning errors

You need to vote, man.

Whilst I'm not sure if your ethnicity and it doesn't matter to me ), i do know it's something our great grandparents fought and most died for the rights that we now shun because of , "both side-isms".

Put some respect on our fore father's names and force some change. Especially on the local level.

Hopefully this does not come off in a derogatory way because it's not meant to.. I know 95% of the x comments are just a$$hole-ish just to be a foolish. I say this with all sincerity.

I hit my local elections yesterday. They had two amendments up and I voted in the DNC primary.

Slap the stickers on my lanyard so my students can see them multiply over the course of the year.
