he doesn't have many I only see two that would be a respectable ending

go back to warriors - Help Steph get one more- with klay gone

go to okc - play 2nd to shai get them a chip

If he could pull off one of those two it would be respected. He's not Going to a random team and leading them to a championship, And if he goes to another stack team he's setting himself up for failure

Yall would've hated watching NBA in the 90s... Yall would've just sat around calling every great a failure while everyone else is just glad to have watched all these greats

Durant has been a part of 3 superteams that didn’t amount to sh1t. When we gonna admit that he a failure and has no ability to lead a team? His only championship was gifted to him after pulling the weakest move in NBA history. He basically a sh1ttier version of Vince Carter.
Said it in another thread and it's somehow controversial but it's facts... He's a weed head now.. no team is going to rally around a guy who wants to mentally escape. ..

GS carried him point blank.

If he never joined the Warriors he never wins any Titles. He went to a team that already had it's hall of famers.

Golden State was never his team. He's a great player, but he's not a Alpha that will win a Title as the best player on the team
I agree he wouldn't have a title if he hadn't joined the warriors.

That wasn't the point.

That warriors had just gotten beat by the Cavs in 2016.

Can you confidently say that warriors team was going to beat Lebron without KD?

I can't.

A sh1ttier version of Vince? fu#k no, KD still has two rings. 4 scoring titles, 10X All-NBA, 14X all-star, a ROY award, two Finals MVP and an MVP, a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary team, and has a far better career than Vince and pretty much mastered his craft. Vince is not on his level in any shape, form, or fashion as an overall basketball player. n1gga, Vince never even been to the NBA Finals. Such a sh1tty take! SMH

KD made two huge mistakes - ironically - going to and leaving golden state. never should went in the first place , but once he got that villian role he should have embraced it . KD just seems like a hooper who doesn't really think two steps ahead.
he should have known that the Warriors wouldn't have ruled the NBA forever, Other teams rise up and eventually if you kept that dynasty rolling people would've respected it. But he bailed, And then failed

he probably has one last move left , but i doubt he'll make the right one .
Brilliant summary!

The return to OKC has charm to it. Kinda like LBJ winning cavs a chip.

Vince could score from everywhere and was more durable. GSW won a chip before Durant and after Durant. He helped but they didn’t need him.
Every time people bring up that GSW needed KD talk they conveniently seem to forget that Steph has 4 rings, not 2.

Okc wouldve won if he came back the next year after the lost up 3 1. Only reason why I stopper liking him as a player. Robbed rw of a ring. However gsw wouldn't have won without him and he tiers/levels above tmac/vince.

I don't know why "need" seems to be this all or nothing thing when it comes to him. Both things can be and actually were/are true. They "NEEDED" him for the two chips they won which was made somewhat clear in that Toronto series...

And they didn't "NEED" him for the other 2.

Basketball fans on both sides of the argument play stupid for the sake of pushing a narrative and I hate it lol

And before y’all n1ggas start talking about Draymond suspension or Bogut injury, they had the unanimous 2 time MVP who couldn’t even get them 1 win to close the series.
Ive watched that series bout 6 or 7 times. The refs were awful. I would like them to had stick to "olayoff" basketball. The recipe was the refs called 2 fouls on klay early. He always throws his hands up like wtf and the replays always show him not Everly breathing on the other players. Called tacky sh1t on steph too. I think it's the game the cabs won where they went all the way fu#k it mode. I'll never elunderstand why the refs were so damn hard on the warriors for that game

How is he a failure? Compared to who? The reality is he should’ve never been compared to LeBron in the first place cause you looking at him like his game is designed to be in that Top 5 players of All Time mix.

KD always been a silent assassin, & Golden State showed what happens when he sell his skills as a killer that he’s unstoppable in THAT role. He thought Kyrie & Booker would allow him to play that same role again as the clean up man but they can’t do it consistently and the rosters aren’t deep enough to win games when both guys don’t have big games.
Regardless of how deep their "bags" are, none of those players are Steph. He creates space unlike any player in NBA history. You insert KD into an offense with Steph is we aw the result. KD was never that good before or after his stint in GS. He never had that much space to operate and never will again.

Exactly. Steph get too much benefit of the doubt & KD get to much hate. Without KD warriors not winning in 2017 & 2018. People forget they literally begged KD to come back on a fu#ked up achillies cause they was down to the Raptors. Dude was looking like the boogeyman against the Raptors until he went back down.
Steph still would have 2 and he would have ZERO. You weren't good in arithmetic were you?
And miat people don't really pay attention to the actual games but Steph actually outscored him in that brief "Boogeyman" return. Ya'll run with narratives that aren't based in facts.

But I mean nobody wins by themselves.

FO failed him in Brooklyn and in PHX. Not having a pg in 2024 is the most insane sh1t in basketball.
He CHOSE those situations. Terrible excuse.

Bronsexuals are literally the dumbest fanbase on the planet. You need to be UPLIFTING his competition dumbass. That's his only real argument over Mike because of 6 for 6. Lebron's competition is lightyears ahead of Mike's so he couldn't always overcome the opposition in the Finals. You n1ggaz are so fu#king lame that ya'll don't realize it.
