After the Macklemore/Kendrick sh1t I really don’t feel like winning a Grammy hold the same weight in the culture.
People getting "snubbed" happens in alot of different categories of music. It's just rappers and rap fans like to complain and play the victim role nonstop.

Ironically, he makes this statement after losing every nomination Sunday night.

I think Drake realizes that rappers Childish Gambino and Lil Wayne have as many Grammys as him and feels like he should've won far more over the years.

The thing is, I think the current voters for Rap album of the year have been voting for less cookie cutter music, like his, and have been giving the nod to rappers with more substance over the past 5-6 years.

I can't explain how happy I was when rappers like Pusha T, Jay Rock, Royce Da 5'9", and others started getting nominated for Grammys since '18 or '19. Even more ecstatic when Nas finally won a Grammy after all those years.

Salute to killer Mike for taking home three awards too.

But Drake is literally saying the complete opposite in the OP post and hasn't submitted his solo music in years to even be nominated and he dissed the grammys even when he won.I personally don't see nothing wrong with any artist being proud of an award or trying to make an album to be recognized as the best that year and trying get a grammy like killer Mike did.Im quite sure Nas was proud to get a grammy as well.Its hard to tell an artist to not feel a way if they put they all into a project and it don't win. I know Kendrick prolly felt a way when he lost to macklemore.Alot of the world did.
