If Gunna had a one night show in LA airport to the hotel to the venue to the airport he wouldn't need to check in.. Since he wasn't in the streets.

If he flew in to drop a track at a industry studio he wouldn't need to check in.

If you gonna be around street dudes trying to make moves and networking you're an easy target and you can't take private a security around criminals usually.. so that's when you need to check in.

Gangsters think rappers have signed up for street life and all the consequences that come along with it, especially if they're rapping about street/tough sh1t.

Any wealthy brother, even rappers like Talib Kweli or Common should hire security, but you're really only on the radar of gangsters if you portend to be one yourself. Talib might only have to fend off muggers who would target any outsider whose flashing. I don't see the crips pressing him.

But if you're posing at the top G....They either want you to check in (pay voluntarily) or be subject to the jack move.

I just think it's extremely easy to avoid Big U types without needing max security:
Don't rap gangster sh1t
Get regular security
Don't hang in street circles at concerts, clubs, or strip clubs.

Italian mafia was great at making huge connects they had people in very high places. They were real businessmen and a real organization. Young Thug has ties in LA. Young Thug is not happy with Gunna. Lowkey, gunna was already 'checking in" by riding with YT. He's trying to salvage what's left of his street image. Otherwise, there'd be no need to be seen with a notorious left coast gangster. I'm sure he's paying for private security, but paying Big U for his 'charity' is definitely a move that'll keep most gangsters in LA from even trying him at all.

If you're in a poor a$s neighborhood wearing 500k in chains expect a problem. I think that's true for every major city in America not just LA. Folks are broke but they shouldn't steal from others.
