How? The two best teams in the country are so much better than the next two teams in the country that all expanding the playoffs will do is just give us more football to watch lol
The only thing I can think of is having each conference champion of the power 5 get automatic bids in the playoff and add an at large bid to make the total 6 teams, top 2 seeded teams get a first round bye.

It just doesn't sit right with me that these two teams are 1-1 against each other but one is recognized as a national champion and one isn't.

Would rather just have a definite champion.
