I'm down bro. I shot you a PM with my email
Had my rookie draft in my dynasty league today. I won the chip so I picked last other than 1.07 from my Watson trade last season. I made picks mostly for long term value more than short term.
I'm really high on Jameson and Pickens long term.
Before the acl injury, Jameson was my #1 wr for this draft. So I don't mind waiting on him. I was kinda torn between him and Olave.
I don't think the Steelers will keep Diontae or Claypool next season so Pickens value will go up next season.
I think Doubs will have more value than Watson this season (Watson projected to be a top 10 pick in rookie drafts)
I also made a trade after the draft.
I love the film on both and Dotson somehow slipped to 2.07 so I'm all about getting players I'm high on so I kinda overpaid 2 2nd round picks for him but fu#k it.
My team
Hope Hardman good but looking like Skyy szn might be sooner than expected.
It's Mahomes and Reid so I shouldn't say this but they may be struggling to begin the season. Maybe JuJu is the next great thing and he was being held back in Pittsburgh. Maybe Skyy becomes the OROY but I am not sold on anyone but Kelce in that offense right away.
I hate the "(Blank) team can't draft a certain position" because I think it just takes a draft to turn that narrative around but the Chiefs past WR picks have been sh1t at best.
Since Mahomes took over in 2018, they have drafted Mecole Hardman (2019), Cornell Powel (2021), and Skyy Moore (2022).
That said, I will probably try to grab Moore for $5 or less in my auction draft. I think JuJu will be too rich for me
Who is everyone targeting as a sleeper at wide receiver? I have a few that I like:
- Rashod Bateman: I think he's going to be a great WR2. It's tough in Baltimore because of the offense they run but with them trading Hollywood he's their #1.
- Hollywood Brown: May not technically be a sleeper as he's WR24 on fantasy pros but they paid a heavy price for him and Hopkins is out for 6 weeks. I only worry he has a similar season to last year where he starts strong and fades once Hopkins comes back.
- Gabe Davis: Might be the same situation as Hollywood where he isn't exactly a sleeper but he finished the season with 8, 7, 3, and 14 targets. Not to mention his playoff success. Beasley is gone. He should have the #2 WR locked down in Buffalo and they're going to pass.
Also I'm taking a late flyer on Doubs, no clear cut #1 in GB and ARod been talking him up heavy. He been outstanding in they training camp.
WHAT YAL think about s. barkley
he getting love this year but his past injuries got me weary
The Green Bay situation feels like the Kansas City situation to me. Both have MVP quarterbacks but sh1t at wide receiver. Kelce is going to eat and Jones/Dillion should eat in Green Bay as well but I wouldn't be shocked if one week Lazard goes off, then Watkins, then Doubs, then Lazard.
It feels like it'll be hard to predict which WR will be good from week-to-week and that's hard for fantasy.
Tampa Bay has much better receivers but I almost feel the same way about them. Or, I did when Godwin was healthy too. It's nice having a top 12 WR but it's a pain in the a$s when one week someone like Evans has 43 points and the next he has 5. Sure, 48 points in 2 weeks is great but I'd rather 24 and 24 (or so) instead.
