Def some 50 d1ck riding going on, but they are not wrong really. The song sounds very tired and uninspired. It was indeed territory Ja had tread over far too many times.

It still exist and always will.Folks are followers, miserable and ready to hate.Folks turn on someone and hate for no reason nowadays

I never had an issue with that song or ja rule.
I never had one either
I think social media simply amplified the group think.

n1ggaz were d1ckriding 50 and G-Unit so hard they started to hate on Ja Rule just because they were afraid of being clowned for fu#king with Ja
I was a Ja fan & I remember my n1ggas & older cousins clowning him before 50 even came back for “going soft” & “making love songs.” People fu#ked with mixtape 50, but once he said what all of the hood n1ggas were thinking about Ja, he became their undisputed champion. Kind of how n1ggas been sick of Drake for a minute but Kendrick was our avatar to say what we’ve been thinking for years.

dickriding 50 became a mandatory part of the culcha. the machine was working overtime. talking bout singing only to jack the man's formula for some of his biggest hits like candy shop and 21 questions.

Oh 100% it did
Plus these labels/media are masters at manipulation. They create stars out of nowhere and can influence folks to stop listening to them or hate them too.Its crazy how folks can be influenced by others to hate and they cant see it or don't care.I think people are just more ret@rded nowadays but its always wild how its so difficult for some to support 2 black people at 1 time.

That song would be #1 on the countdown for 52+ weeks if it were premiered in 2001/2002.

They used to stay hatin during that segment. I remember when they went to the audience after they premiered Akon - locked up. At the time no one knew who he was. Outside of givin SP his props, they was killing that song and Akon.
Sheep need to be told what to do. Learned that awhile back when I was smoking at a old friend crib with a few of his n1ggaz. We passing around the aux, and I played shabba ranks by ferg when it just came out. Granted, not the most prolific song but it hit. n1ggaz were clowning it. Two weeks later!...a n1gga played it during the next blunt cypher and everyone was rapping word for word. I sat back in amazement like wow.

That is true, unfortunately Drake has a stan base that is still massive and they enjoy any type of bs he put outs.
Crazy a dude with a Spitta avy is saying this lol

Like Curren$y fans don’t gobble up ANYTHING he puts out.

What’s the last wack thing he put out? They don’t know. It’s all fire to them lol

This isn’t true. Kendrick just came and hated. He didn’t latch on to what the crowd was saying, unless we’re talking about the schizo crowd with their conspiracies of killing little hair dye rappers and running a child trafficking ring.

For years, Drake haters been saying “stop that soft a$s singing and RAP!”. Former Drake hater King Charlamagne used to stay with that. Since Kendrick said “I like Drake with the melodies” now everybody is “yeah i dont like Drake when he’s rapping!”

People are simple. And some simple people just hate that n1gga lol. They don’t need or have a reason themselves for why they do.

This.. To be honest people were getting tired of the formulaic Ja rule singles and 50 cent came along at the right time to diss him. ja rule by 2003 people were getting fatigue of hearing that same rinse and repeat formula he was putting out. Saying this he did drop a banger a few years later with R.Kelly that was fire.
Same for jay. He dissed Nas at the perfect time…..

Right after Nas dropped Nastradomus, and n1ggas deemed the album whack, it was the perfect time for jay to claim New Yorks throne. Cuz n1ggas remembered Nas for dropping a bad album
