Anderson, Sheboygan, Waterloo, Rochester, Fort Wayne, Minneapolis, Syracuse, St. Louis, San Diego, Buffalo, Kansas City/Omaha, Vancouver, and Seattle have all had NBA teams at one point and should always be included when talking about lost/moved franchises. A lot of NBA players have also come out of these cities, and there were big reasons why most of them even the really small markets had players coming out those regions. Many of those early franchises came out of the merger era and should have been moved or shut down for small markets but thay doesn't mean players didn't come from there.., and some folded because the league was still finding its footing. Even though some of these places were considered “too small” later on, they played a real role in NBA history. Seattle alone produced enough talent to fill out an starting roster thay could snack tons of nba teamns, they missing height but got hooper.... Honestly, about half this list (or more) has sent major players to the league, but you don’t always hear that when non-NBA fans make lists.
Seattle alone is crazy
Jamal Crawford (legendary 6th man).
Brandon Roy (3× All-Star).
Nate Robinson (3× Slam Dunk Contest champion).
Isaiah Thomas (All-NBA).
Dejounte Murray (All-Star).
Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic, #1 pick 2022).
Zach LaVine (2× All-Star, Slam Dunk champ).
Aaron Brooks (NBA journeyman).
Spencer Hawes ( biggest bust in NBA history maybe).
Jaden McDaniels ( he was coo on offense.. super beast om defense).
Terrence Williams (caught scamming the nba hahah)
Seattle mad deep in the nba and put out more players the huger cities...
