I know because I sold burned cds of Carter 1 at my hs

I was the bootlegger back then

I took my inspiration from hustle kid on recess. That kid had fake report cards, hall passes, etc.... and when I hit hs I had 3 desktops and CD/DVD burning station

All my ID3 data was right too... I didn't do people dirty
I was eating until like 2007

Back in either 98 or 99 I had a job at office max. I worked in the furniture section selling desk, filing cabinets, etc. Back then disc man would get pricey. Some of the sports ones were like $80.

My hustle was I would have classmates and friends come in and buy a $15 filing cabinet. I would put the disc man in the drawer and they would throw me $20 or $30 for the disc man. They were getting a disc man and a cabinet for half the retail price of the disc man lol. sh1t was going smooth for a few months until some nut a$s nicca on the sales floor snitched on me smh.

The portable CD player era was kind of short. It was like from 98 to 2003/4ish.
