If you were a student at a USC UCLA Cal Stanford you aren't getting treated like that because they know you have to be of certain intellectual and social class to even be on that campus yea they will still show a bias and assume but it wouldn't be to that of regular dude outside that environment due to the social proof of being on said campus

Every audemar doesn't cost a million bucks, you can find some as low as 25K. The 2 that I had were in the 30 - 40K range. Rolex with in the 25K, but had aftermarket customizations that dropped the value a little.
