The most hilarious thing about threads like this is you got a bunch of 9-5 workers in here calling a legit legend a failure meanwhile that n1gga is currently playing in a series against a future legend(Ant Man) who called him his GOAT and earlier this season another future legend who's projected to one day be on that GOAT level (Wimby) broke into tears after his first time they played because dude was his idol......

KD can’t win with Devin booker and Bradley Beal. He need guys like Trae young or lamelo ball and bam adebayo type big men to win. That gs this was jus so overwhelming the league had no answer, but ppl forget Khawi had them on ice they weren’t unstoppable.

And yet those same people usually have so much hate and vitriol for another NBA HOFer...I wonder why

Hmm to think about that nigh did had Harden, Ibaka, Westbrook and prime Steven Adams. Sounds like a superteam to me
Exactly bro. This man’s teams were stacked. Only difference with this is that OKC drafted these players. Both him and Westbrook failures. Westbrook had prime PG and a slightly post prime Melo and ain’t go no where with them

The Phoenix roster construction was so dumb...They were constructed to sell tickets, not win games

3 jump shooters...One's old, one's mixed and the other is overpaid...They traded too many assets to get KD and Beal, all the depth that made the team good were gone

KD did mess up his legacy joining the Warriors and that being the only place he won...Shoulda stopped being a punk and joined the wizards when Wall was still good and Beal was young and hungry

Greatest scorer I've seen but still shoulda done more

Naw we not doin that! To this day Steph still gets clowned and so does Brons for coming up short whenever they lose and steph ain't had nearly the level of teams as this n1gga, but somehow he had all these circumstances that make him excusable? Naw n1gga just ain't the n1gga erbody thought he was.

Vince could score from everywhere and was more durable. GSW won a chip before Durant and after Durant. He helped but they didn’t need him.
Not to mention when you go back and peep the footage n1ggas will see steph was double and triple teamed most of the times which allowed for KD and others to have free reign....literally every teams game plan is contain 30, the same way it is for brons

And before y’all n1ggas start talking about Draymond suspension or Bogut injury, they had the unanimous 2 time MVP who couldn’t even get them 1 win to close the series.
n1gga and what would have 6'9 Bron done with and for the cavs without creating his nba 2k created team? Bringing in Jr shumpert and Love etc? This n1gga literally goes everywhere and creates his own 2k my player team and yall still bashing a 6'3 n1gga for not getting the job done with the DRAFTED team he was apart of? Lmfao

Exactly it been a lot of bone head front office moves in KD career and I think he gets frustrated by that.

But I will say I been watching KD play since High school, Steph since college and met him when he was drafted with Carmelo. Seen Gil arenas, Beasley, Mel, a lot of dudes who are supposedly in the baller conversation and KD was better than all of them. If just pure basketball but def pure scoring there’s nobody seeing KD not even Steph who is top tier in his own right

Simple All Skills No heart . You literally saw that man throw in the towel in last nights game once sh1t was getting real . Most these players All skills No heart . And that’s why that old NBA era although was less skilled would run circles out of these players .

You're trippin

KD is levels above Vince Carter in terms of skill and his ability to score.

KD is one of the best scorers of all time

Secondarily, say whatever you want about him but the warriors needed him to get those 2 championships.....

When KD turned his nose up at the Wizards, that's when I officially started looking at yo sideways. The warriors move was one thing, but bruh aint wanna go back home like the sh1t was beneath him. i'm not from DMV, I'm from baltimore but it still close enough to feel some type of way about it. so no I don't feel bad for him on everything that has happened since leaving the warriors

When a bunch of people on this site was saying KD the greatest, most unstoppable, most difficult to guard, player off all time it was people like me telling y'all to simmer down.

KD is good, he's not great though. Stacking up stats doesn't make you THE greatest.

In OKC, maybe if they stay together, they get it done. That may not have been all KD's fault, but he didn't do what was necessary to drag his team up the hill if the wasn't playing well enough.

See, in Golden State they had a team and everyone had a part to play... and they all did their part. When it came to KD's part, he did it to the fullest, A+++. However, he never need to pick up anyone else's slack. Which all the greatest players have to do at some point.

In brooklyn, he came back from that injury, he put up stats but he wasn't the same anymore. He would get exhausted and then have to basically play the "background". That was his entire tenure. Plus they eff'd up the personnel, and KD not a leader... it was all bad.

Which brings us to phoenix... KD is over the hill and all he wants to do now, is what he's always wanted to do. Be a part of a great/winning team... not be THE reason why that team is great or wins. I dunno what Beal's deal is but... them max players coming out the wizards organization are doomed.

I like KD but as an elite superstar it seems like he is only expected to score and nothing else. Kobe, LeBron, Shaq, Duncan were expected to be leaders, be All Defensive Team, make teammates better and so much more.

Durant has been a part of 3 superteams that didn’t amount to sh1t. When we gonna admit that he a failure and has no ability to lead a team? His only championship was gifted to him after pulling the weakest move in NBA history. He basically a sh1ttier version of Vince Carter.
You n1ggas cried that it was unfair when he was in GS. It took away league parity it ain't fun no more blah blah. n1ggas thought it was fantasy basketball like you can just put KD anywhere and he's gonna eat. He was the perfect fit in GS and would have 5 or 6 chips if he ain't let fools trick him off his square smh

KD had an amazing career and there was a time when he was arguably the best player in the league. That's no joke.

It's over for him though. He's still tall so he can get his shot off but he is no longer capable of getting to the rim even on guys like KAT. A year or two ago KD could torch anyone his size off the dribble... he can't do that anymore.

He will always be able to score 20 or 30 points when his jumper is on but now that he isn't getting to the rim he's not going to pop for 40 or 50 like he used to be able to. I don't think KD can be the best player on a champion anymore, he doesn't change the game enough on offense or defense anymore
