I don't think they had c-rams, but I know when I was in Iraq and Afghanistan those c-rams were loud as fu#k, but they saved many lives.

Hell yeah them joints are super loud with 50 Cals on em. sh1t would wake you up dead up out your sleep in the middle of the night. I never even heard of this base before, so I know they had to be in the middle of nowhere.
Damn, how a group of black soldiers get killed, I thought we were the minority

Exactly! We were coming back from the DFAC after eating one night me and all of my boys hit the ground fast as fu#k!
I’ll never forget that sh1t fam.

Especially when you take out one of Ours!
Am I reading this right? It's essentially a suicide drone?

Tower 22 was basically like CAS in Qatar. Only having a Patriot missile system. I know now that CRAMs are being posted at every camp in SWA now.
fu#k Qatar I went there twice before I retired and I hated every time.
Even though I was a E-7 the last time and I had my own room I still hated it lol.
And watch that OPSEC
lol
I left CAS in 2021, when everything fell in the STAN. Ain’t even OPSEC anymore. I got out this past summer. Everything is posted online, I was at USASOC at AUAB. I enjoyed my time there, but Covid and the Taliban getting free passes down the road woke me up to it all. Glad I got out after a decade and change. I’m 90% with sh1t pending, will go back with the agency or contracting.
Damn, that’s crazy.
I’m a retired MSgt-E-7 with 90% and I work a little part time job. I’m waiting on this contractor job to open up with the USAF and then I’m gonna quit my little job so fast.
My CC wanted me to come back in after I retired in 2021 to a GS-9 slot, but I just needed time to decompress from all of the Bs. So who knows my resume speaks for itself if I ever wanted to do that.
Im a GS11 basically, got out as E6 basically medically. My warrant packet got kicked 3x because I was deployed, Covid and change of policies at Rucker. I didn’t have any motivation to reup after that last deployment. When the VA came back with 80% (2 months later bumped to 90%), I gathered my sh1t and found TA form and got made an appointment for turn in. Didn’t turn back. Great experience, but not worth it anymore if you’re a hard worker and actually “squared away”.
Try in April for a lot of GS positions with the VA. You’re over 30% so you can apply to VRA positions which grant up to GS-11 non competitively
Good look on the link! I’m definitely gonna look through this tomorrow at work!
Yeah, like I said April for the VA opens a lot. Basically be on your computer at 11:59pm on March 31st with resumes ready for USA jobs.
