He's also used to Hand wrap stacking out there in Japan which is legal, there but mostly illegal in US boxing.
Obviously, hand wraps will make your hands harder, and he's stacking mountains of tape on his sh1t.
If he ever fights in the US, they will probably cut all of that out.

He ended up wrapping his hands like how Fulton wanted and proceeded to beat that a$s into submission
While wearing winning gloves which are essentially pillows
If he wore punchers gloves and wrapped his hands like how he wanted to they would have had to scrape Fulton off the ground and carry him out on a stretcher
And he has fought in the US before when he slept Maloney
False information keeps getting repeated over and over about his wraps and drug testing.
Inoue has fought multiple times in the U.S.. as well as the UK. Stacking is legal in Vegas and a few other major U.S. commissions.
Either way the results are the same regardless of where he fights. Guys get hammered all over the place and stopped.
Alot of experts argue that stacking doesn't even really improve power like that. Stacking is mainly done to protect fighters' hands. That's why alot of people with hand issues stack.
Paulie Malignaggi stacked all the time in camp and whenever he was allowed to in fights. Whenever he stacked he almost never injured his hands. Whenever he couldn't he often did injure his hands but guess what ? Paulie never had an improvement in power. He was always pillow fisted. That arguably proves stacking is for protection not power.
Inoue also often wears those very soft protective japanese gloves that other fighters mostly just use in camp because they protect your hands but soften your power. That shows that Inoue is likely just protective of his hands yet even in protective gloves Inoue still punishes guys badly. Imagine if Inoue regularly wore Reyes horsehair gloves ?
When teams bring up the stacking issue it's more so to play mind games with the opponent and rile them up. Also IMO in hopes of getting them removed if they know the fighter has hand issues and lack of stacking could injure their hands in the fight.

Yup I just saw this. And they gonna hit him with blood test. We all seen what happened to Manny when Floyd started that sh1t lol. Don’t get me wrong he is a nice fighter but imo something ain’t right
Inoue has fought multiple times stateside and Inoue has had random VADA drug testing (the company Floyd and other big boxers use) for both the Fulton fight and the Donaire fight. He hasn't failed a test. They even popped up on him twice in one week during this Fulton camp. Once at his house 2AM in the morning.
He's on VADA's website with all other fighters who have enrolled and passed their testing.
