Jack Harlow isn't a great rapper, but he's not wack, either. At least he's rapping and not mumbling and warbling in autotune.

The production on this tape is fire. Reminds me of a mid 00s soul-chop Roc album. Beats deserve a better rapper.

Overall, this thing is fine, if forgettable. A thousand times better than that last weed plate he dropped, for sure. This should've been his second album.

The beats on here are crazy. Dude is aight. Flow is nice. Lyrical content is mid. I was surprised by how short the album was. It's a one and done as far as replay value for me.

I still bump this every once in a while...only 'cuz of my guy Cyhi.

Do yall know how to listen to hip hop?? That Common Ground song is not pandering in my opinion. He starts off the song saying "this is what I see". He basically playing the mole giving a glimpse into how white kids play with hip hop and dont really respect the culture. Where is the lie???!!

The Larry Bird reference is a good one. In Spike Lee's movie Do The Right Thing a Larry Bird jersey was the centerpiece of a scene about culture appropriation. Not saying he referred to that but I get what he meant by mentioning it.

Im not a Jack Harlow fan by the way but he almost in a cant win situation. Be authentic and risk not being "down" enough or play a role? Either way n1ggas aint trying to hear ya
