I can bet she is not from NYC maybe LI or upstate chasing that s3x in the city life but not NYC. Yall love generalizing sh1t and grouping people that live in nyc together when there's a difference between transplants and native new yorkers. Native New yorkers mostly live in harlem and the outer boroughs. sh1t a lot of us move over the bridge to jersey we are not paying no damn 4700.

You absolutely can, they probably live in an old a$s apartment in a nice genttified area. Wburg, les, LIC, the village are full of old overpriced apartments. The idea you can't live in NYC in a nice place for what they're even currently paying is a lie.

I live in cleveland just bought my second home for 3k a month on my mortgage I got a fu#king 3200 square foot home 4 bed 3 baths in the burbs while n1ggas complaining about rats I got a full basement that look like a extra apartment under my house .. in Texas you can get damn near a mansion for 200 300k

Okay I get that, but $4700/month for a place that’s mediocre, seems ridiculous unless you making like 10-20k/month. Even if I’m making 10k per month, I’d still be pissed paying something that high.

I've never lived in such fu#ked up circumstances. The worst I had were roaches the last time I lived in apartment and that was for a few months (the roaches left with Indian neighbors

). And I wasn't paying 3k, nor did I have a roomate.

I can somewhat understand the appeal of southern Cali but to pay those prices to live in anywhere in the northeast is crazy to me.

Ain't no reason to tolerate the level of filth and squalor in many parts of NYC.
