I get that everyone hates him but it's weird that randle just gets thrown into deals like he's salary filler when he's been second team all NBA two of the last three years.

The playoffs are a disaster for him but he's one of the most productive players in basketball.

It's a trade package for Joel Embiid though. He's a better player than Julius.

Swap Randle for Barrett, Swap Grimes for Quickley

No, RJ is the future.

He would have to be twice the player Julius is for him to be worth that and he's not.

You don't get an all NBA player, the entire pick package and young players for a guy that does the same sh1t as Julius in the playoffs.

Neither one of them are the leader. Brunson is. Randle is just exponentially better than Barrett and I despise Randle. Barrett just does not have the athletic ability to be any better than what he has already displayed.

I don’t get how y’all don’t see it.

The 2022-23 version of Randle fits perfectly with Embiid especially since they can both switch playing inside and out. If his 3pt % falls back to where it was the previous season then I definitely agree with you.

I have to admit id consider trading both Barrett and Randle if the right deal came along

But id probably trade Randle first. RJ actually strung together 3 good playoff games against the Heat which is a better postseason stretch then Randle has ever had

Id also consider passing on Embiid and waiting to see if Giannis becomes available. I have seen Embiid quit multiple times in the playoffs. His body language gets poor when his teams losing

Ive seen Giannis with questionable body language in the playoffs at times too but generally speaking i think Giannis is the one thats more likely to go down with a fight. Ive seen him against the Celtics where it seems like the bucks have no chance but he keeps trying.

We have a guy on our team thats not as talented as Embiid or Giannis but hes got that dog in him and never gives up. In my opinion Jalen Brunson has one of the best mentalities of any player in the league. He doesnt quit
