I know they like their backup PG but I think a vet back up PG would be dope signing for them to cap off a great trade deadline. Just somebody to keep the squad composed and running smooth if Jalen needs an extended breather in the playoffs. Not sure who might open up for them in the buyout market.

Nah Thibs loves McBride who is shooting great. Also Donte does some ballhandling and Alec will probably.

If a star gets injured no team can't still win a ring that's just how it goes, it's alot of luck.

Now we all kno Phoenix will not complete the task at hand, and get bounced in like the 2nd round. They’ll implode, and the gm will be looking to get back picks they let go for KD.

Yep, if Randle doesn’t have a strong playoff run , he’s in the trade for a superstar. I do think his bully play style he’s had this year translates better in the playoffs so he’ll play at a high level. Just wished he didn’t suffer yet another injury like he did going into the playoffs last year.

But make no mistake about it, if Randle has a monster run .. we’re winning it all! Because when Randle and Brunson both play great, we’re damn near unbeatable. I know what Jalen gonna do! I think Randle will ball out this postseason!

Gotta imagine Mitch is in the package as well (to make way for Hartenstein resigning)

Yea. I think he shows out as well. He’s heard the talk, and knows what he has to do at this point. As much as a few of us hated on Randle in the past, I’ve accepted him as a knick, because of the way he attacks, and he has that grit that reminds me of players from the 90’s the way he bullies sh1t. He’s one of the pieces that came through, and began this whole rebuild sh1t. With that being said, he has to show up this year in the playoffs. No more excuses.

Mitch on the boards is a piece I don’t want to see go. I hart has stepped up, but I don’t think he attack the boards like Mitch. That’s all we really need from him. Get those rebounds, and yam it on n1ggaz heads when you do. Only problem is the injuries. I don’t think there’s a season he’s played more than 75% of games.

Your last sentence is the key to it all.

All depends on how Julius is this playoffs, he’s got a Lamar Jackson size pressure on him this season. This is it for him and I’m sure he knows it.

Boj is expiring and he’s turning 35 years old so it makes the decision easy to cut him loose. At the same time, he’d be a great re-up moving forward next season to go into battle with so the players can have a breather and not have to do so much on offense.

I think the Knicks plan is hoping the Bucks implode, with Giannis becoming disgruntled, asking out & trying to pull out all the stops for him. If that doesn’t go well, go after KAT as a backup. Not the move I’d do but just based on the signs, the agency KAT is signed to, I can see that being the play.
