Plenty can possibly be available in the off season. We beat some of the best teams In The league by double digits effortlessly when we’re focused. Why not build on that? McBride and grimes confidence keeps building along with precious, and we gotta solid bench. I just don’t see the rush. Murray ain’t moving the needle like that.
n1ggas keep sayin Murray that n1gga doesn't compliment Randle and Brunson at all. It's like adding Westbrook to LA.

Before OG maybe it should be done but now it's useless.

Grimes would most likely be included in any trade for Brown. And Fournier.

The Knicks would be crazy to trade Josh Hart, with this chemistry?
Grimes for essentially a one year rental because he has a team option for next season is too high. Yeah I wouldn't do it with Hart but Bruce would be better in that role I just love how Josh rebounds/get to the cup thats about it.

I don't have a problem with the redundancy.
Especially with those two. Brown and Hart would be like two rapid dogs on the defense and hussle tip.

I think this team is more disciplined than that era. Once Woodson left, that team was bound to go left. I honestly think this team can compete with any team in the East at this point. I feel you though. A solid piece can definitely take the load off them. Brogdon would be solid. I thought a good move we could make that I don’t hear anyone mentioning, is trying to get Markelle fultz & Wendell Carter from the magic. I think they’d be solid pieces to run a second unit. Even can have Wendell run the 5 until Mitch gets back.

Woodson left, and we hired Phil Jacksons bi#ch ass.

And that's all she wrote.

My issue with this is next season isn’t guaranteed.

The 2012-2013 into the 2013-2014 season is a perfect example of this.

All it takes is one injury, a lack of focus from players, contract expiring, not listening to the coach anymore, etc and that’s it.

We have a chance right now to try and win, we don’t know if Brunson or Randle will get injured next season and set us back.

We need to be aggressive instead of just being conservative. The NBA honestly is wide open, we have a chance if we stop being scared.

We don’t even need a star player, just a piece that fits the system and gives Brunson/OG/Randle some breathing room. We’re very, very close, the front office just needs to pull the trigger.
2012-2013 had too many old guys playing significant minutes. We had no assets/picks to improve from the Melo/Bargs trades .

Randle is our oldest player in our rotation (29) . Brunson , Randle, & OG are essentially entering their prime now.

And this year’s Knick team beats the brakes off 2012-2013. Let’s be for real.

of course

and that hasn't happened yet

but those 2 guys were kids and they now have a glaring need at the wing for another scorer/playmaker

lets see if they fill it
it has happened though we are 2 games better

Not sure if i agree that we beat them but we are in a much more sustainable position for the future

I do think Felton and Kidd would get destroyed by Brunson. But in a 7 game series i think it would be close

This is a wild stat, how often has a team held their opponents under 100 points per game over a 13 game stretch in the past few years?

NBA midseason grades: Who is ahead of the curve and who needs extra work

The NBA recently passed its midway point of the regular season, with every team having played at least 41 of their 82 games. As the Feb. 8 trade deadline and All-Star break approach, it's a good time to take stock of how teams have performed relative to expectations entering the season and which ones need to course-correct.

Broadly speaking, a C grade reflects a performance meeting expectations, as evaluated by win-loss record and underlying metrics, including point differential, that are more predictive of how the rest of the season will go. I also considered factors like player development and how teams are set up for postseason success.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers are the three teams exceeding expectations -- earning an A grade.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, the Detroit Pistons' record 28-game losing streak earned them the only F. Let's mark in the grades for the other teams in between those extremes.

my question to you is who would finish games? two dogs on defense with a poor mans scottie pippen would be a nightmare if you could play all 3.

Depends on who we are playing and who is having the better game IMO

Both Hart and Brown can defend 1-3 and sometimes even the 4. Thibs would go crazy.

Depends on if Hartenstein is healthy. But it really don't matter.

Knicks can roll out Mcbride Grimes Hart OG and Mitch to shut a team down for three minutes

Thats an insane team defensively. Ive been thinking the same way too ever since we got OG, Mitch has gotta get himself back because i need to see them on the court together. I know its gonna be some of the best defense us Knicks fans have seen and thats saying alot

I could care less about getting involved with the IHart vs Mitch who is better debate, Mitch is undeniably an asset to the team with his interior defense and offensive rebounding. Hes unquestionably a difference maker and will make us an even better team when hes back
