I wouldnt want Bruce unless we traded Josh Hart for him and thats not going to happen. We have enough players that are roughly 6'4 on this team already

Bruce is a better defender and can run point guard while playing SF. I'd take him would make our bench kind of lethal with the interchangeable players if lets say Grimes or Deuce isn't available. Its just the asking price cus Ujuri always tries to r@pe

I think you can get brogdan for less but bruce would be a good addition.

Only player Knicks should make a move for is this motivated Drummond. Robinson might come back but he needs to see that you gotta be able to catch pass and score under the basket. Him not being a threat severely hindered Randle who is always among the most doubled players in the league.

I like this team. Said earlier in the thread OG would have these kinda games. I say hold off on doing something drastic by the deadline, see how far we go In the playoffs, and then you make a move from there. That way you see what piece is needed in order to get you over the hump. The addition of divo and OG has lifted the chemistry. I like Murray, but I don’t know if he’s what would gets us into the deep waters.

My issue with this is next season isn’t guaranteed.

The 2012-2013 into the 2013-2014 season is a perfect example of this.

All it takes is one injury, a lack of focus from players, contract expiring, not listening to the coach anymore, etc and that’s it.

We have a chance right now to try and win, we don’t know if Brunson or Randle will get injured next season and set us back.

We need to be aggressive instead of just being conservative. The NBA honestly is wide open, we have a chance if we stop being scared.

We don’t even need a star player, just a piece that fits the system and gives Brunson/OG/Randle some breathing room. We’re very, very close, the front office just needs to pull the trigger.
