Time is money. Rich people pay for convenience, and most people don't want to feel poor, so they do the same.
The other factor not listed here is the preservatives that will allow the pineapple juice to be stored a bit longer and the container as well it comes in .

You're right, there definitely are benefits (vitamin c, citrus bioflavinoids, antioxidants etc), but all that goes out the window when there's like 30 grams of sugar/serving.
This is why we got to just cook and prepare our own sh1t
