The sh1t Zelensky has been posting the past few days on X seems like he really is not for compromise or really ending it unless he gets his way 100% And expects America to continue to fully be committed to them in security and money. In his words he wants "Everything" as far as America backing them because Russia are liars and will attack again.

That's not going to fly, and not how sh1t works in a peace treaty there has to be a middle and both willing to give up things.
America's commitment to them needs to decrease which it has under Trump.
unless we are getting something in exchange that's equally beneficial. We have already supplied them for years with funding and weapons and there has been no substantial progress in them gaining ground or winning to the point Putin says fu#k it and calls it off and he won't it will just drag on and on.
The only reason Putin has not used his full potential to wipe out Ukraine is cause America is in the mix playing bodyguard from a distance and if they do it potentially might lead to America vs Russia war. Throw in a few European countries and now we are the ones trying to to broker a peace treaty between both not Europe not UN.
If Zelensky is not willing to come to a mutual agreement then let them continue fighting on but let Europe and UN back them fully at this point imo we have done our part as much as we can in their war.

Met with Putin saw his side and wants now Zelensky now it's time for all 3 come to the table and try to work out a resolution they both can agree on or not.
if youre in a mediator position like this and dealing with two prideful egotistical people add Trump's personality and stance in mix plus both don't want to give in to anything that would appear weak to their people .
add on that it involves a war that billions are tied into it it's not easy to resolve.
This is not a marriage counseling session it involves years of beef and thousands of deaths on both sides now.
I think it's moving in the right direction but who knows tomorrow one can say the wrong thing or not agree with something in the deal and it prolongs it.

Not only that Biden or his admin never once try to set up a meeting for any type of resolution peace treaty nothing once the war kicked off. It was solely keep pumping money and weapons to Ukraine. Keep fighting we got your back basically involving us in a war with Russia thank God we didn't fully commit under their admin with our troops getting sent over there under Biden but it was leading up to that.

Trump's plan is not to involve NATO to gang up on Russia as security assurances. He just posted a day or two ago Ukraine will not be joining NATO Lol so NATO has no involvement in this right now.
