It sounds “horrible” but got a ton of praise for the same reason because it’s raw.

It’s not a technically skilled rapper making rap music, but if you notice fans love the appeal of a novice rapper rapping but as soon as they develop their vocabulary and get better with the pen with a professional sound people tune them out.

I can’t compare him to Von because if there was no Keef there would be no Von as far as the fascination in his hood.

Jeff in his short time has a cult following of young n1ggas the way Keef did on the strength of raw, amateur level rapping. Keef actually got to live and hone his skills. But if he died when n1ggas only knew Keef for saying “Bang” you’d run into the same issue.
