Did you not hear the record? The vocals on the hook sounded off, and the mix was ass! Ja’s voice was too harsh for that sample and the snare sounded terrible.
"Its not bow wow, its not Romeo, its not 106 material" god fu#kin damn
n1ggaz were d1ckriding 50 and G-Unit so hard they started to hate on Ja Rule just because they were afraid of being clowned for fu#king with Ja

They used to stay hatin during that segment. I remember when they went to the audience after they premiered Akon - locked up. At the time no one knew who he was. Outside of givin SP his props, they was killing that song and Akon.
That half a f@g said “it’s not Bow Wow, it’s not Romeo, it’s not 106 material”
They just wanted to hate on that sh1t lol. If you give little people a chance to tear down people they see as bigger or more important, they will jump on it
This was also true in part for the Meek/Drake and Kendrick/Drake beefs. While I personally still love Drake’s music, he had been slowly turning people off of his music for a long time. It started with the CLB cover and Girls Want Girls.
You can go earlier with the ghostwriting allegations or his Views/Scorpion type albums as when internet nerds turned on him
Hive mind was waaay before social media
n1ggas was riding with 50 lol
the funniest one to me was that singer from chicago that looks like R.Kelly..i forgot his name. But he debuted a video and was there to get opinions and they all said it was garbage while he was there..
The sad part it was an actual good song but i think what was happening was ppl started to realize they can get ppl to talk if they start saying negative thing about the content.
they didn't like it man. it was trash. no one remembers that song. there was truth to what they were saying. leave it at that. "little people"? people are people and the sh1t was trash. dont start making up bi#ch a$s sh1t over a wack ja-rule song.
It was weird though.
50 really caused everyone universally to hate on someone who was arguably the hottest rapper the year prior.
And the same machine that was being used to blackball Fif was the same one that was helping to push him beyond the highest limits possible.
Never liked this song, the audience def went harder on it than most people would have tho
