Right. Even if the movie flops, or turns out not so good, he’s NEVER the problem. Almost always at least one great scene. Always a commanding presence. Always a quotable line. Always a gif-able facial expression. Always entertaining. Movies, Broadway, or just sitting for an interview… Denzel don’t give you no bullsh1t.

It’s good to have great range, of course, but sometimes when you can just DO WHAT YOU DO, at an elite level, that sh1t will carry you for your entire career.


And speaking of DeNiro… that’s actually the knock on him to me. In his older years he started trying too hard to branch out. I’m here to see DeNiro be motherfu#king DeNiro. Not some retirement age office exec starting over at a new firm as an intern

Denzel is the best leading man of our lifetime, BUT...I won't disrespect DW by mentioning others, but there are at least two other guys that are pretty damn good and get overlooked whenever DW is brought up, and they've both been in films with him.
