His pops is legit bajan BUT his mom is Louisiana creole with very very distant Dominican roots(which is not uncommon since alot of creoles in Louisiana, Texas,Sip, OK, Florida, Arkansas and Bama have some kind of distant ties to Latin America/ West indies. Just in Dave's case he made it seem like his DR roots are super recent when thats not the case.
