If people are COMING TO YOU its not a scam

They sit up and let these AAU dudes coach em up and end up low-IQ bench riders

Maybe if they had more time because you cant learn that kind of footwork and counter moves in one session
I fully agree with you bro

He’s right.

But a lot of NBA fans collectively want to live in the 90’s and think by doing so they can force everything & everybody to hop in a Time Machine. I said this last year about Brandon Ingram saying he’s been watching game film trying to copy Jordan’s moves in the mid post. It’s completely pointless in 2023 NBA basketball. Hakeem’s post move package is completely irrelevant for a C to have in 2023 NBA basketball because teams arent going to slow the game down for THAT to consistently be a 1 on 1 possession in their offense. It’s like that silly announcer asking Kareem if he’s going to teach Wemby the “sky hook” for fu#king what? The aesthetic?
I'd be willing to say Dreams post work would be even more lethal current day because of all the switching teams do. Big men end up with guards on their back now and have no idea how to take advantage..They literally hold the ball and wait for shooters to get open. sh1t is sad.

Nobody is asking for dream shakes or for these guys to put defenders in Mchale's torture chamber..we just asking for their goofy asses to develop a baby hook or dip a shoulder and dunk

The things Hakeem can teach are on the defensive end, but mostly what is valuable from him today is getting insight on how to operate as a “superstar” off the court and how to avoid getting caught up in nonsense.

But you shouldn’t have to pay him money for “gems”.

Hakeem is becoming the NBA Master P.

He been finessing n1ggas for years to learn some sh1t that don’t apply no more.
We just watched the the nba world team get dominated by a 3rd string big man who didn't shoot 1 3 lol.

But again, its wrong to pay a legend but its ok to spend 100k on actual gems? Yall dudes got the game all fu#ked up.

I wonder if someone in china would say Yao ming is old and cant teach you anything. Only in this dumb a$s country

Take the top 10 big men in the league and the only Americans you might have are davis and bam, and bam is damn near useless on offense

“Bigs” are smaller & Guards are bigger than the 90’s.

That’s why you not seeing that at the frequency you like, it happens a lot, it’s just not going to overwhelmingly be a mismatch whenever they get matched up.

The mismatch today you want now isn’t about size, it’s about hunting the worst defender for your most gifted offensive player.

Yao Ming’s career STARTED after Hakeem’s ENDED.

And Yao himself is long past retired.

Do you feel you can learn something to be applied on the court right now in the NBA from Kareem?

It prolly ain’t registering for you because you grew up watching Hakeem’s entire career while you caught the very end of Kareem’s so he’s always been “old” to you. But Hakeem is “old”. Where has the time gone, right? But Hakeem been retired almost 25 years now.

Did you read what I just said or were you triggered by the premise of what I suggested?

Because you name dropping a n1gga who not only doesn’t play in the NBA but has been dead for 3 years as “proof” I’m wrong about what’s going on in the NBA in 2023.
Ironically didn't you also mention Kareem in here who has been retired since what , the 80s?

Yes Kobe excelled in the mid-range in the current era of basketball

I also included Kevin Durant and Kawhi all specifically because they all either hung with and talked wth and/or watched Jordan to learn his moves.

Your whole dig about old heads and 90s and all of the extra you're being in here is way off base in relation to a simple mid-range game.

Some things are just fundamental, and they work regardless of what era you're in.

It's not Dream's fault these dudes don't learn counters or how to move their feet well.

Some of yall are too smart for your own good.

As a high level coach, there was a drill called the Mikan drill which is still used to this day.
Pete Newell is older than hakeem and kareem and ran the premier big man camp in the country. Almost every top big man went through that camp for 30 years.
Age = wisdom, well in most cases.
If you aint learning from Hakeem, then who should you be learning from? Amare stoudemire or eddy curry maybe since they are more recent.

I disagree. What you’re saying is right in the sense of the game has changed where more bigs play from the outside. But if you’re trying to be a well rounded player you have to be able to play in the post or mid post at some point in the game. What I’m saying is at some point within a game or a season because the nba is a 1v1 iso game, at some point you’re gonna be in the post and have to get a shot from that spot. Game gonna be on the line and you gotta beat your man from the post or mid post. That’s where this training comes into play. To be a traditional back to the basket player we know that’s dead but at some point somebody is gonna be in that situation and throw up some bullsh1t. The response will be why that mfr ain’t learn no post game. I agree nobody is playing that way as a style, but situationally you better be prepared than not. If Ben Simmons worked out wit Dream he wouldn’t have been scared to shoot that sh1t that got him traded

By that logic you should only accept advice and intel from currently active players, which a lot of young players do.

Kobe wasn’t good since 2012 and hadn’t played a game since 2016.

n1gga it’s almost 2024.

Things have drastically changed since then.

And Kawhi & KD are 2 of the 10 greatest SFs ever, we talking Brandon Ingram.
