sh1t like this happens alot more than it should. Overall the NHS is good and operates the way it's supposed to but then you get times when people get the wrong medication or treatment because the doctors aren't 100% sure what's wrong with them so it becomes a trail and error situation
And I'm speaking from experience when my grandparents were in hospital. Neither of them made it home

Having had very close family in hospital recently for serious sh1t ATM I can say that the NHS is under severe pressure
Still I rather take my chances this side of the pond than see my money go health insurance and big pharmaceutical companies
