If Bud gets the Phoenix job I don’t see why they fired Monty, they hired the same coach. At least Nurse gives you a fresher pedigree, someone used to developing rather than managing.

Monty was a dogsh1t coach. That offense was just basura. The ball just stops. A 7ft center gets guarded by a guard on the switch and they don't pass him the ball. Suns have a good starting lineup. With a good coach and some 3 & D players its a championship team.

I think nurse would be dope for them. I can't see them slipping into iso heavy ball or "dribble dribble" dribble CP3 ball under him. He's known for shaking sh1t up defensively too.

Look at the conditions it took to get fired, Portland coach, 4 first round exits in five years, fired.

Doc Rivers never won more than 60 games with the Clippers, had 3 seasons under 49 wins, fired.

Monty had a 64 win season, then a 45 win season, lost in the second round and still got fired.

How can anyone say “this should have happened a long time ago”? Our patience for coaches are so radically short now compared to 3 or 4 years ago.
