It all makes sense now

When I was younger a couple of friends parents didn�t like their kids listening to rap.
Even when was older I used to party with a couple that hated rap. We�d be at the house that had a pool table, and had to listen to Mowtown exclusively. We�d be drinking and playing pool, and every once in awhile throw in some rap, they�d let it play for a bit out of respect� but then usually the wife would complain and we�d have to put back in their music. And they weren�t Caribbean. Don�t get me wrong.. Nothing wrong with some classics.. but while drinking, gambling and playing pool, I�m not n the mood to hear some damn love music all damn night. Lol

Haitian parents don't really be thinking and are influenced by trash news and media. Imagine thinking that every person with dreads is a vakabon while all them folk fu#king up the country got "good" haircuts and nice suits

Thankfully that way of thinking is dying out. My grandmother doesn't even stress me about my hair anymore

i grew up in this house hold, haitians is mad racist. dreads/braids/earrings/weed was all forbidden in are household growing up

now all my dads children have dreads, ears pierced and are pot heads.
