Trash....He won the poorest division of Belie city, which his uncle kept poor. Sadly he has nothing to offer his constituents. His uncle ran for the hills as a rich man, after 12 years in power, raping the country. He Left poor shyne holding the bag. Everyone knew their time was up and they would lose badly. The prior opposition party ran the tables on his team and took 26 of the 31 seats in the house of representatives. Shyne is one of the 5 seats his party held onto. How Belize work, if you are not a seat held by the ruling party, they give you or your division nothing. Shyne actually did them people a disservice by winning, bc now they will get nothing for the next 5 years.

oh basically, thats politics 101... i mean it would be fu#ked up if they literally get no political take in it all, but over here and i'm sure elsewhere, whatever political party is in charge of the daily workings of legislation, also rules the land!

I mean its the people who did vote him in right? Obviously they see something he can bring to the table regardless of what party is in rule.

Naah, they just blindly vote down party line, and it also helps when the people he paid $50 for their vote..Having control in the house in Belize is like having both the house and Senate in America. They pass what they want when they want, including budgets and taking out international loans

Belize is slow paced and laid back.I would say Belize is a low grade DR. Belize has some of the most beautiful women in the world, but they not ho'in. If you are into country life, backpacking, like to visit maya ruins, ride horses, jungle adventures, cave tubing, zipline, then Belize would be Heaven... now if you a romantic dude, have a main girl, want to impress her without worrying about competition or distractions, or have a family and want to take a cheap family trip and chill on the beach/cayes...then belize is also for you. Belize is the #1 destination for deep sea fishing and diving. Belize don't have a huge population so if you are looking for parties all day everyday, that's not the place for you. Belize turns up only during the easter break..that's when everyone belizean who likes to drip goes down with their tax money and profile on each other. The money is $2 belize dollars to $1 us dollar, but things are priced like in America, so your money goes long down there. A lot of people who visit Belize usually end up buying land in Belize and retire down there.

All the travel sites have them listed. Bookingbuddy usually have some good prices.. but Airbnb is the best way to go now. The best way to go about buying anything in Belize is to see it in person and being able to talk to the seller then and there.. Belizeans and investors would advertise some crazy prices but if you are there in person, you can buy anything for sale at half the price listed. Lazy buyers get got in Belize.
