Another offseason and someone is going to have to convince me this coaching staff and front office is going to get us over the hump. I dont want to hear nothing about Leon Rose and Coach Thibbs till the preseason. We had no business not keeping Duren now this silly trade

For the role we had obi, we can get someone off the scrap heap to do what he does? I definitely hate the wasting of him but it’s better than extending him and continuing to bury him in the bench.

Last off-season we went from lottery team to 2nd rd team...

like knicks fans are way to emotional i swear.

I love Obi... but he was a 11-12 minute backup.. The world didn't end because we lost a backup and the 9th guy off the bench which is was Obi had become whether we liked it or not.

Obi was a floor spacing backup 4 that couldn't shoot, rebound or defend and he was going to cost more than white donte to keep.

He might do well in Indy but he was never going to work here.

He was only a 11-12 min backup because of our coach now we have a hole at backup PF when we could've let him play out his contract on his rookie deal and let him walk next season instead of acquiring our 15th 2nd round pick. Harkenstein and Sims is the answer at backup PF? I swear Knick fans are just ok with making it to the playoffs unless theres another play here i dont get it

Josh Hart is our backup 4 and he's better than obi.

I don't have a problem with trading him since he wasn't gonna play well here given the coach and situation. My issue was Thibs/ organization not maximizing his value and him ultimately being traded for nothing

The season doesn't start tomorrow..... It's july fn 1st...

Knicks have $13M to spend to replace Obi. Even if they don't use that, they have 3 months to find a replacement.

I'm ok with making the playoffs after not making the playoffs for years...

I'm not a dumbass that expects a non playoff team to be a championship team in 1 year. That's just stupid... Can we see what Thib does next year because NOW he has expectations If we make the ECF are we going to cry about that seriously?? Thib did his job last year. Now he has to take us to the next level or he's gone.
