Yeah, Snoop is a pop culture phenom, but he’s absolutely musically irrelevant in modern times. Eminem was probably the only headliner that year with a recent release, and he wasn’t top billing.

I mean, this is a 17+ page thread, and I’ve seen several different reaction channels focused on this topic. So it’s disingenuous to act like people aren’t talking about it like that.

I think Wayne is relevant enough to perform his classic material on the biggest stage.

If Snoop can do “California Love” and “The Next Episode” - tracks that are 20+ years old at this point - I don’t see why Wayne can’t do his popular tracks of the last 15-20 years.

I guarantee you Wayne will do better with his next release than Snoop did for his Super Bowl album, which didn’t even crack the Top 100.
