Yeah, I still remember that. Buddy even said in an interview, he was confident he pulled him out of that fight in time, but we all knew what was the result days later. I understand these fighters have pride, and would rather get knocked into next week, than to have the ref or their corner stop it. Wilder fired his main corner guy for that his 2nd fight with Fury, but it was a good stoppage, because he was getting killed.

YEah - Cruz does NOT have adequate defense. Footwork and head movement very suspect.

Gamboa is washed...this fight just shows Cruz has great trainers and work hard in camp. He's gonna be conditioned.
