Prime accomplished as much as he could at Jackson State the school wasn’t willing to invest the money to get to the next level so he had to move on. HBCU’s haven’t got this much attention since the Air McNair days. In a short time period his involvement has gotten HBCU’s a tv deal. people got the right to feel some type of way but at the same time you gotta understand the limitations of HBCU sports.
n1gga really played yall straight outta the New age grifting handbook.
Pretended to care about n1ggas and black colleges. When in actuality he only used you n1ggas to show them white folks he can recruit and steal players better than white coaches by using his fame. Now he about to go right back to the same sh1t we been seeing, stealing players to make money for massa.
n1gga used an HBCU just to get his sons and himself some shine
You never trust a n1gga who talks in the way Deion does, n1gga ran that preacher game on yall hearts
What tv deal? You talking about the games that been coming on ESPN+ and ESPN3 for years? The only change I've seen is the championship game coming on ESPN 2 this year and not ESPNU
So people really only cared about Deion and the press he brought. Now it's time to stop caring about that little HBCU down in that black state of Mississippi. sh1t is typical, stand for nothing and only care about headlines...
you asking about dudes transferring. sh1t sad. What about the Sip?
Fasho fasho. sh1t is a$s man. And it's about not money but MORE money, we gotta get white man rich and go to the white man party with our nice suit on... Block party or isolation for me personally, they can have the 1% ish.
Why do yall act surprised when rich black folks choose money over Black folks?
It's only happened practically all of history in america. You make a certain amount of money, you're no longer race conscious, you're class conscious. And you do more to ensure your classes support than your race support.
Especially when your race will still support you regardless of how you treat them once you get on.
They'll run back to their race once the whites that paid them take back what they allowed them to have.
Deion, as many before him is choosing his individual self and family over the larger community. He's not the first or last to put himself before the community. He won't be the last.

I’m curious to see if shedeur is gon be able to prove himself to be a nfl talent in the pac 12 & if travis hunter & kevin Coleman follow him to Colorado. It’s gon be hard for shedeur wit no o line or weapons against real d1 competition.
I’m also curious to see if prime can actually coach fr cause it ain’t gon be like jsu where if u land a couple 4 stars u can easily have more talent than any of the teams u play.
Go cry in ya pillow bi#ch n1gga
“I believe that God led me here, not man, because man didn’t believe that I was coming,”
[...]
“I believe our commitment to excellence, academically, can continue. I believe that our student enrollment can increase, I believe that the crime in this community can cease, I believe that these young men that we’re raising is going to be pillars in the community. Not only professional football players but professionals.”
I understand why people are mad but I can't lie, this news hasn't bothered me at all. Not because I think Deion made the right move but because I have no faith in any of these public figures who always preaching black empowerment. All these cats are looking out for self which you can't fault them for but at the same time it's fu#ked up for the kids.
go project somewhere else this Sunday morning, prime let you down
You probably the same type n1gga that was d1ckeating dude talking about how down for the culture he was and bringing hbcus back was his long term goal
Now you up 5am calling ppl puss1es
Colorado is a strange entry point (to Power 5 head coaching), but it is an entry point.
I recently read that since 2011, Colorado has finished in either last or 11th in the Pac-12 TEN times--that's a struggling program. But if Sanders thinks that he's the man to turn it around then his move there makes some sense.
Did he "use" Jackson State as a stepping stone to what he actually wanted (to be a head coach at a "major" college program. Certainly. Is he wrong for that?I can't say.
When he got to JSU he made statements like this:
It's possible that all of those things happened (I haven't looked up the stats) and I do believe that Sanders' association with Jackson State has been positive for JSU (and possibly the city of Jackson, Mississippi). I don't remember him making any long-term promises (like, "You've got a coach for life", etc.) and I'm not sure what he told his recruits, but I have to admit that I was surprised when he took the Jackson State job, I'm not surprised that he's leaving it.
God sent him there (according to Sanders), I guess "god" told him it was time to leave.
Deion deserves to go wherever the hell he wants. No different than any of us choosing a company to work for.
He did his job, turned JSU around, and now it's time to spread his wings.

sad that he chose to leave for Colorado. For me one more year and leaving for a better job would’ve been understandable but he just seems like any other coach. If its not about the money and about the movement you stay and continue to put on for the SWAC and J State. Not a fan of his decision but its his decision, 2 years… aint waste no time jumping onto the next.
