If OG shows his worth he's going to get paid, regardless of here or another team, it's how basketball works. It doesn't matter how much you think a player should be paid because the CBA and Players Union are responsible for that.

Yes the overall goal for any team is to a win a chip, but we aren't there right now and there isn't an available player who would make us serious contenders. All the FO can do is make the best team with the player available and the Knicks are better with OG. IQ has a better chance at getting a big payday in Toronto. RJ gets a chance to play for home after representing well for the national team over the summer.

This has the vibes of the Josh Hart trade from last year.

It came out of "sources" mouths, not his own. Sources also said he'd be willing to accept less to play in NY. If he shows his worth whether you want to pay him or not he's going to get paid.

This whole conversation started with you being mad at the fact we have to pay him the max when one we haven't paid him and two, the same source you use to say he wants 40 also said he'd play for less.

What move has this FO made that made you think they aren't thinking about the future? They have draft picks, they have cap space and they have a team with high level players, they aren't a championship team but they aren't far if they keep this up.
