looking around the webz today i see alot of pundits talking about how the thunder are title contenders . so my question is why are they title contenders with only 1 star player? why is it only the knicks that get sh1t on this way

Because they are a complete team. Top 10 in offense and defense, SGA is a superstar and the team complements him. Chet is legit in both ends.

They're young and talented, they getting contender talk because they're winning. I don't think they're there yet but if they're healthy in the playoffs who knows. The west is going to come down to matchups and health.

Jerami Grant contract set the tone for the market, if he plays well he's going to get 20-25 mill a year. The new TV deal and cap increase is going to make spending that much not so much of a big deal.
