I don’t fu#k with this response from Wayne - It just fuels these idiots

the correct thing for him to do, if he really fu#ks with Ken, which now i assume he doesn’t, was to big up Ken and to tell others to do the same … but it’s woe is me, “it broke me” “i deserved it it’s gonna take some time to get over this” … this is why Jay is Jay and Wayne is Wayne

maybe i’m just being too hard on Wayne and expecting too much, people are allowed to express disappointment and their feelings, i just find it a little entitled and hoped he’d be the elder statement man and diffused the situation and showed love like I know Jay/Nas/Em would have

if the Super Bowl was in NYC and Nas expressed interest and Ken was chosen to perform can you even imagine him putting out a video saying “he was disappointed, broken, and needed time to put himself back together” while not showing love to Kendrick … I can’t imagine that at all

disappointing by Wayne and his team, i expected more from him … my bad
I'm with you but at the same time why everyone gotta be politically correct? lmao

If anything that sh1t was kinda real and not the typical damage control bullsh1t that a lot of us were expecting from him coming in to captain save a h0e Jay.

Dude wanted to do the sh1t in his hometown, he couldn't get it, he felt disappointed... sh1t was a real, genuine response to me.

Nas a poor example…. I doubt 50 cent or Jay would care enough

Lil Wayne is a big football fan from the city with enough hits to have a dope halftime performance. He wanted that moment. No point in giving K Dot fake props, its not like Kendrick needs any support

Good to see he took some time, put on a costume and got high first before telling his legion of adoring fans that he's gonna be okay. It must be hard to accept that you're just an incredibly rich, globally beloved superstar rapper that has never had to work a job in his life and freestyles most of his music

I'm a big fan but this whole thing has been silly

Wanting it is one thing but let’s be real, corporate America is going with the more feasible option at that time. Let’s look at some facts

Wayne has never been the best performer, he be doing weird sh1t on stage and the only reason we give him a pass is because it’s Wayne. In 2024 Wayne is washed. And before you mention 50 cent, that man has an undeniable world wide hit, even your grandma knows who 50 cent is. Wayne doesn’t have that. He’s big to hip hop but not worldwide. Back to the performance aspect, I can name multiple shows where Kendrick outperformed Wayne.

Secondly he has not kept himself, appearance wise the best he can. Dude always looks drugged up. Not the best image the want to put on stage especially for “white America”.

I been a Wayne fan way longer than Kendrick but you gotta be real with ya self when it comes to comparing them both.
I would go along with this narrative if it made logical sense.

Corporate America prefers Wayne over Kendrick.

Wayne is the 1 saying he never experienced racism.

Wayne is the 1 constantly on FS1, CNN, and ESPN and given a mic to speak.

At NFL events and in suites, performing at their events.

Kendrick is the type to make a statement and say something socially conscious that they don't like. Out of everyone in rap, Kendrick is the least corporate friendly. For Kendrick to perform, someone in the culture has to push for it.

It was less than 7 years ago when they were complaining about Beyonce sending a message during her performance and Kendrick as well as he performed with Dre.

Same with Eminem sending a message, but it was all a discussion.

Wayne has none of that. There is no concern of Wayne going against the script.

In fact, Kendrick just dropped a song that clearly shows he is not corporate friendly like what are we talking about here

It's gone be so sad and pathetic wen it happened too. Cry yo way on stage cuz people didn't like the decision. It didn't go y'all way so y'all mad. Like children.

How you use the word logical and then you don’t make a logical post pertaining to what I just said ?

1. When it comes to corporate friendly music that can be played amongst the masses, between Kendrick and Wayne… who has the better playlist ?

2. Between both artist, image wise… which one has the better image? I’m talking no tattoos and just looks cleaner overall.

3. The fact that one artist speaks more on social issue, which artist have more meaningful songs they can perform and despite insulting white America?

4. Which artist has done better performances live ?

5. It’s a reason Apple Music chose one artist over the other.

6. Which artist is actually trending between the two and also have the capability of bringing out bigger acts?

7. In 2024, which artist would the majority of people rather see on the big stage?

Man point I’m trying to make is Kendrick run circles around Wayne in every point I made just now.

Wayne has songs that don't disturb a thing and have been hits for over a decade or more.

Kendrick purposely makes conscious music that bothers yt America, lets not play dumb here

His legacy is ushering in a bunch of lean addicted mumble rap smothered in autotune.
This is the irrefutable truth

I don't hate on Wayne...I did, for the reason given above, but as time's passed I can listen to his better stuff

But if anyone thinks a million rappers in embryo wanting to be Drake and Wayne has improved the game from when that same million proto rappers wanted to be Pac and Big then they're genuinely fu#k witted
