They have no other gold most likely. We have 3 potential. Need to win 2 of those 3 or at least 1 to tie and then we have more total medals

I’ve seen some videos of how they’re trained.. it’s brutal. The Russian artistic gymnast coach went to work for them.. and.. they won gold for the first time.

I had a coworker who immigrated from China, and the 2000 Chinese gymnastics team made her cry. Those little girls were ripped from their parents were hella young because they passed a physical test that showed they would be good gymnasts.

That’s there history. “Testing” and “placing” people like worker ants. I saw a few cringe moments during the Olympics from Chinese athletes and coaches. They’re pushing for a bigger spotlight. One coach tried to pat the athletes on the behind like what has been done for a long time here, but it was completely awkward. A Chinese “identity” won’t come to light until at least one or two more generations reach the adolescent stage.
