Aggies trippin...these kids always wanted to go to UT, they just wanna win. They see how much success Herman has had. I'm not all that surprised.
22-4 Record. 6-0 vs top 25 teams. Whooped OU's a$s last year and beat FSU and shut down Lamar Jackson and Louisville. The guy is proven
Probably because they were delusional and just hoping to bounce back. Herman is already proven.
Charlie Strong beat Florida (and they had Urban Meyer), and he was phenomenal at Louisville.
Have you looked at the past 5 pages. There is delusion here as well. Talking about how "great" of a season Texas will have. Hell, I've seen some idiot on here predict them to beat USC handedly.
If we beat USC this year I guarantee we win 9-10 games
And when USC destroys you, then what? 5 games tops?
I've seen USC fans say that Clay Helton is mad overrated and their offense for Darnold depends to much on him making spectacular throws. What makes you think USC is so much better than Texas? Cause they beat Penn State in the Rose Bowl?
Their QB is worlds better than Buechle. I also think you guys lack of depth will hurt.
i saw UW Huskies picked up Nick Bolton LB from TX... it appears Petersen is trying to set up shop a lil more there and i dont blame him, so far we have gotten a couple nice players out of that state... i think Bolton is a tad under ranked as well, maybe its just his overall size thats keeping him lower but he fits what UW wants and i think hes gonna be one helluva player for them... i believe hes the 4th texas player on the roster now... any of u TX fans seen him play live??
What makes Darnold so much better in all seriousness? The lack of depth at corner will hurt us for sure
Did you not notice how well he played last year? Buechle wasn't good to me last year. Maybe you can convince me otherwise.
Also, the depth in general. Both lines have a small amount of depth.
I thought Buechele was average last year cause our playbook was so predictable. We literally either ran curl route or fly routes.
I haven't heard of the kid before, seems a bit undersized to play ILB at 5'11.
his size doesnt stop him, he plays with a fire in his gut out there and loves to hit hard... if Petersen wants him then im gonna trust its the right move, the LBs coming through UW have been hella solid... this kid fits the OKG mold... plays hard on every play and looks for contact, he was also a team leader... from what ive read he played vs solid competition and will be ready to contribute sooner than later due to that... i like getting battle tested kids
I think you guys ran too much last year, that might be just me.
Foreman did have 2000 yards lol
There ya go. I think the QB position being a necessity has hurt the run first teams in College Football.
Hence the reason the SEC was Bama and sh*t last year. The SEC was Bama and Conference USA last year. Their QB play in that Conference is atrocious.
And that's exactly what makes Alabama's defense look so good, they play against mediocre QB's
I like Chris Petersen, I believe he has good judgment in what he wants
