How the fu#k you give up a 17pt lead and get no blame? Be Jared Goff. Score 1 useless td and have that be a "good statistical game". I was over it until I realized I'm the only one who wants to hold him accountable. We just tossed the QB gotta play good narrative out the window this weekend huh? Lamar SOLD, JARED SOLD! They should have played better.
?? Thoughts?
Good luck trying to convince him otherwise. Next time you see him
Lions abandoned that run game and never recovered
Of course I watched the fu#king game. Goff can't escape the pocket, he literally needs the best oline of all time to do anything and what did he do? 1 td? Yeah he passed the ball to Josh fu#king Reynolds and didn't get great results big surprise When the game was on the line did you see how Brock Purdy was able to escape the fu#king pocket and pick up a 1st down with his feet? Can Goff do that? Did Goff do that? When the play isn't perfect can Goff make ANYTHING happen? Goff is the most spoiled QB in the league right now, this team is great and we get "Jared Goff!" chants like he is the savior. Dude is a mid level game manager, who is usually a smart QB that can read a defense and get the ball to the right spot, but he did nothing to elevate the team yesterday.
Goff hasn't created no fu#king hope, stop that sh1t this started with BRAD HOLMES yeah the black man. Not Goff he has the best OC and Oline, or do you not agree with that and believe Goff is the reason the line is awesome and Johnson is the hottest coaching candidate? I watch and follow FOOTBALL not just QB ball, you want to crown this mid a$s QBs then go ahead but I said he was mid preseason, he showed me he could be good when given the perfect situation, when it was time for him to elevate he didn't do sh1t he was average. And he missed a BUNCH of passes fam, did you watch the game? Great QBs overcome mistakes from the team, mid QB are never the problem.
Had to come back 17pts against a dumbass hc campbell and a cinderella story. KC 34 SF 10
Purdy the weak link
Purdy literally has a team most QBs would dream for but dude is trash. Put Russ on this offense
this is a massacre
:mjet her:
This is his LAST game as Niners QB1
quarterbacky f AGGOT.
I knew GB or Det would beat SF. I don't trust Purdy.
He isn't the answer. They need a better QB.
How does Purdy look shook already
Kyle saying you got one more drive until darnold comes in
Purdy is exactly who I thought he was, a game manager
I agree with literally everything in this post.
I saw it from 2018 when we played the Rams on Monday Night Football. Low key, that Rams team was stacked but when Mack and Hicks and Floyd and Trevathan got after him, he folded. That's why I was saying to get Goff off his spot in the thread and the 9ers would have a chance. Even though the 9ers did end up blitzing a bit towards the end, Goff had lots of time to create and he didn't.
The Lions are a quarterback with mobility away. The thing is, so many teams need QB and y'all did so well this season, who will be left when it comes time to pick? Drake Maye? Bo Nix? Penix? You probably wouldn't want Penix because he's not very mobile, but Nix looks like he can move if he has to.
The game has changed. The statue QB will only do so much now a days.
And I know you salty, but you really can't complain about that season you had bruh.
Went Ghost
Post Lawrence Playoff Highlights
what highlights lol Trevor Lawrence couldnt even get to the playoffs in the worst division in football
You Was Talking Big sh1t Like You Been Here Before
Come Get Your bi#ch
At this point. That line is too good to be wasted with a statuesque QB, and what happens when you don't have a wizard calling the plays next year? I'm more sick about the "It's all Dan Campbell fault" narrative that is being spun out here, he did what he always does but if you have a QB who can do more than just stand still and throw ducks you get those converted to 1st downs or scores....
The North is only going to get tougher moving forward and I'm not trying to be saying "I told yall" next season. The writing are on the wall with Goff, if Stafford wasn't good enough to win I know damn well Goff ain't the answer. I've seen enough.
But yeah man develop the draft pick and take another QB in the draft, or else teams will feast on Goff next season.
Stop the bullsh1t
So Justin Fields doesn't work better in Detroit than Goff? Or u guys finally decided to keep him?
"Had to come back"
You mean play football and head to the Super Bowl
Reread what you just wrote
Yall haven't won over 10 goes in 30+ years (we've done it 7 times in the last 12 years)
Yall haven't been to an nfc chip game in 30+ years (we've been to 6 in the last 12 years)
Yall haven't been to a super bowl in 30+ years (we've been to 3 in 12 years)
And before you bring up all that matters is winning it like you have an idea what it feels like to have a team be one if the best year in year out regardless if you're not the "one" team that wins...our super bowl is even more recent
We're better all time
We're better now
Well be better in the future
What are we talking about? We're us, pats, cowboys, and steelers are the poster child for nfl success. Washing is the sh1t on he bottom of the nfl's shoe
I'm glad you mentioned Stafford because I was about to refine my point.
Stafford was not a "get him off his spot" guy. The reason is, is that Stafford would take the hit, and was a statue, but because he had the arm talent to throw people open, he would take the hit but would be so locked in on making a great throw, that his body was sacrificed in return. That's what made Stafford great and a comeback kid. He was a statue, but a statue that could create to the VERY LAST SECOND. When Goff gets that kind of pressure, it's a different deal. No creation. No incredible last moment pass. No running. To be fair, he had a few receivers drop balls yesterday, but we both get my point.
As far as Hooker, I didn't even know y'all took him. I haven't seen him play since he tore his ACL vs South Carolina. I'm glad y'all gave him a shot. He was dope up until his injury.
I want us to keep him. Fields in Detroit would be crazy but I'm not tryna think about that sh1t.
I'm tired of seeing our former players ball out in other places. Deon Bush gets a pick for KC against the Ravens yesterday - former Bear. Kindle Vildor balling on the Lions - former Bear. David Montgomery being a solid AF RB for the Lions this year - former Bear. Roquan Smith for the Ravens - former Bear.
For once I'd rather see us keep our talent and let it grow into something instead of getting rid of it and thinking the next best thing is the next best thing.
