RJ might be gone but he is another first round pick that the Knicks got rid of in a couple of years. This is terrible recruitment and development no matter how you slice it. RJ joins the ranks of Shumpert, Hardaway Jr, Porzingis, Ntilikina, Knox and Toppin.

We need better talent acquisition and development.

Our offense is based on 1 on 1 scoring , let Ju, JB, RJ or IQ cook… we have very few plays and sets, let’s see what we’ll look like with the addition of two guys with no major bag.

We will have to play like the championship Pistons, this is Thibs vision. I don’t know how i feel about relying on Brunson and Randle to score 70 a night .

I’m left a little speechless, we needed a shakeup, but you gave away 2 talented players for a vision.

IQ RJ & Siakim, could be a nice trio… Scottie Barnes on the side

Raptors got younger and Knicks got the defense they needed.

Based on the prices Twitter been throwing out, both OG and RJ were sold for less than they said they were worth.

I kept hearing OG to be worth 2 role players and 2 first for the past year.

Will Flynn and OG make up for the offense lost? I remember RJ being an issue in the Heat series. He had 3 24-26 ish pt games while shooting over 50%.

Even some weeks back, RJ kinda won the Knicks that game against the Heat. On top of that IQ off the bench.

RJ's issue was his inconsistency. Will Knicks miss that offense, to be determined.

I think he can still turn it around, he just needs to be given the opportunity to lead, which he never has in NY, I think he’ll get that now in Toronto. Him and Scottie will be a good tandem, and great pieces to build off of.

We need to make a move for Murray now. He scores about 20 points a game but more efficiently then RJ and with better defense

So the question now is when does NY go after Mitchell or Murray..

Lucky for us Atlanta and Cleveland own their picks this year so they losing nothing if they decide to tank.

I'd feel better with Mitchell knowing OG is there next to him. But man I love Murray's size at SG and how good of a defender he is. And he can come out early and come in and take over with the 2nd unit.

We def have the picks and players for Murray, For Mitchell it's now going to cost 5/6 1st rd picks because we don't got the players for him.

And no I do not want Zach Lavine UNLESS.... Carruso come with him. But I don't even think we have the contracts to pull that trade off now.

Next off-season, not this one. But if a trade does happen, it'll probably be in the off-season. But like I said Cleveland has their pick, they lose nothing in tanking. Which I don't see them doing this season as they are currently the 6th seed ahead of us... Now here's an idea....

NY gets Mitchell, Drummond
Cleveland gets Lavine, Vucevic, Sims
Bulls get J.Allen, Fournier, Grimes, Mcbride, Levert, Arcidiacono + Picks (3-4 + 1 swap. (we still have 4 1sts 2 swaps to use elsewhere.

Chicago is 14-19 and the 9th seed. They aren't going to move from there and they have their own pick.

Don't be surprised if the Knicks make another move this year, Mitchell is included to make money work.

Fournier + Mitch is nearly $34M and Mitch contract isn't terrible.
