When you are trying to get a steal in a trap, arms are swinging and people are tussling to get the ball. This happens all the time. When the ball is loose and you are making a break on it, it’s common practice to put your hand on the other player to slightly hold them back as you go for the ball. It’s hard to explain, but basketball players know what I’m talking about.
You can grab someone without trying to hurt them iced. All I'm saying he mightve grabbed him to slow him down.
