I’ll also say this, over the years my skin has lightened naturally because I’m not out in the sun as much as I was in my early 20s when I ran college track. She is probably a little lighter now. Probably not as light as the image in the OP but lighter than some of the images being posted

I don't see it. It still looks the same but we are comparing a picture of her with no makeup on in competition to one where she has her "face on". If anything, her hair/eyebrows and makeup make her look lighter but she looks the same.

Point taken, but I don't think Chapelle or Martin was crushed...of course the environment is toxic...Martin was on drugs...Idk if that was mostly Hollywood or personal issues, but it's a personal choice. Chappelle mentioned how he felt the viewers and some of the show producers weren't laughing at the right things in his show...so instead of being crushed under that, he showed the mental strength that I'm talking about and left money on the table. Choosing integrity and your spiritual journey over cash is definitely not being crushed...quite the opposite imo.

This is facts. I was black as hell in middle school and high school because as a teen you always outside playing sports and what not. I’m really like 2 shades lighter now. But the cold weather always cool your skin down from the previous hot months. Cali AZ Nevada. I got to Portland Seattle and I’m shades lighter. Serena is using lighter makeup but damn near all these females using OD makeup. My sis looked like a straight up tr@ns with all the make up on her Birthday didn’t even recognize her

She never liked her thick eyebrows but the skin lightening was an insecurity encouraged by her white husband. Love can have people being very foolish if they're not self reflective or confident in who they truly are looking in the mirror at.
