Izzy in my opinion was already past his peak in the Alex rematch. He pulled together everything he had left to get that win and hasnt been the same since. Theres no way a prime Izzy loses in a completely one sided match against Sean Strickland
As for Strickland, hes had 13 fights in the past 5 years (a 9-4 record during that time). He also spends as much time sparring as any other fighter. I thought his timing looked off in the DDP rematch and believe its possible the heavy workload is catching up with him
To be fair they were both good wins for DDP but im finding myself agreeing more with Khabib, that maybe Khamzat does have the better boxing/striking
Now do Khamzats best wins
I dont think Izzy had ever been submitted
Whittaker had only lost to Izzy in the last 4 years when ddp finished him
Ddp made 2 Strickland fights watchable
Ddp has been proving everybody wrong
