Dumb a$s
Death. Taxes. And Texas fans getting excited about a commit during the Summer.
Nobody is excited, just simply posting Texas football news in a Texas football thread lol
Yeah, looks like excitement to me but I digress. Hell, you're talking sh1t about dumb a$s Parker Thune for fu#ks sake.
I'm sure it's been said somewhere in the thread but honestly don't feel like scrolling through pages to find it. How are y'all feeling going into season 2 with Sark? I don't watch every Texas game but I know a couple of last years losses were 1 score games. The Kansas loss was pretty bad but besides that I think they were in most games
Just curious because I'm a Tennessee fan and both our squads have been wandering the wasteland for a min. There's some great football mixed in with God awful football and bad coaching hires. I wouldn't say I'm excited to see what heupel is going to do in season 2 but am looking forward to see what he can accomplish after the great job he did last year after all the studs transferred out and he still had the O humming

Being unbiased in this. I like Tennessee going forward more than Texas. Sark just isn't it. Donors already are pissed off at the lack of accountability, and the fact he can't get his team to buy in.
First my boy is only saying that because Heupel is a former Oklahoma guy. With that being said, I really don’t know what to expect from this Texas team this year. We had a really good offensive line haul in recruiting for the class of 2022 but the 5 star ones aren’t getting on campus until the fall. Tbh I’d be fine with 8-4/9-4 (bowl win) I just want progress.

Do you think Sark is on the hot seat already or has a couple years to show what he can do? I know at Tennessee I knew Pruitt wasn't the answer after year 1 with the stories I was hearing I was just hoping he wasn't as big of a dumb fu#k as he turned out to be so at least he could put some talent on the roster before we had to do yet another coaching hire
I’d like to give sark 3-4 years but I know the impatient a$s boosters will probably fire him after year 3 if there’s no progress. I think the volunteers are on the right path with Heupel. If I remember correctly Tennessee was in that game with Georgia for like a quarter and a half but the talent disparity started showing
That's basically all I ever ask unless the coach was a complete dumb fu#k like Pruitt give him 3-4 years especially if he's recruiting well to get his players and see what he can do with them. If it's a bad hire it'll still be a bad hire then and the next coach coming in at least knows he'll have time
And yeah had bama within a 1 score game in the 4th too but same thing happened heupel runs his sh1t quick so if they score then get the ball back in under 2 min and score again sh1t can get out of hand with the swiftness especially with the D he was left with. So if we can recruit decent on the defensive side of the ball and get depth we'll be good to go
One of the craziest things I've seen and also the best example of it was the Kentucky game we won 45-42 but only had the ball for less than 14 min but still put up 450+ yds of total offense
I mean if it ends up not working out and they get rid of him after 3-4 on the brightside you can still pull a big hire and use that momentum to recruit with the come play in the SEC card. Also how are y'all feeling about that move?
Were winning the sec year one playa. Already coming off either a playoff appearance or natty. Dont think we dont have the talent to do it
