They would probably prefer quickley and Grimes over Barrett due to their contracts.

IQ should be their biggest target. Ball’s career likely over, Caruso aging, Pat Bev UFA, Dosunmu is decent but he’s not IQ. Quickley could be their point guard of the future.

Coby white stinks. He is not going to be the determining factor in anything. And he’s a RFA anyway, so there’s that.

Ok so yeah I can see them asking for RJ and IQ not sure if the league is as high on grimes as the Knicks are. Even for their contracts. RJ isn’t on a bad contract either and a proven 19 possible 20 ppg player

Whoever leaked that clip is a weirdo. Doesn’t help either side. Either way Obi is gone and it may be best for both parties. Knicks do need a player more like Taj off the bench especially since Obi won’t get his true chance to shine as a full time starter.
