I watched Carlos Lago's Car and Driver review last night. They are taking it to VR for testing. GM may have a slight problem if it consistently laps faster than a Z06. Keep in mind it has standard Carbon Ceramic brakes and carbon fiber wheels. The only caveat is that it has Michellin all season tires. I wonder if they will test it with Sport Cup 2s for sh*ts and giggles. It's AWD may have it exiting corners quicker with minimal understeering. But on paper this thing may be the top dog track Vette as well as the top road Vette. We shall see!!!

It will most likely be slower for a number of reasons. One, the added weight over a Z06. Two, because of the atteries and electric motor the spring rates will most likely favor a softer setting hurting lap times. Three, the electric motor probably has a cutoff of around 110-140 mph which means you're only left with 495 bhp. Tracks that favor high speed like the Nurburgring Nordschleife and Virginia International Raceway would favor the Z06.
