Chris is 51 and his Carter role never really required for him to do anything crazy in them films.

They just need a half decent writer and not try to force some newer/young dudes that will try to take over the film from them like recent sh*t. Man, Coming 2 America pissed me off. Most of these newer films keep making the same mistake

All these years later???? Uhhhhh... I'm not even sure what they can even do at this point. Might have to go the Lethal Weapon 4 route and bring in a younger actor to help freshen it up a bit..

The one thing about the trilogy that made it funny was the banter between them that wasn't politically correct. A lot of asian and black jokes.

I feel like if they play it safe with the jokes or push newer agendas, it'll ruin everything.
