Makes sense they was listening to a hometown superstar

In another interview, Mase was asked to name his Top 5 New York rappers All Time, and he had Pac in there.

It fell like rappers that came out Pac n Bigge's post era, were heavy on Pac's sh*t more than Biggie.... just an observation

Make sense Tupac didn't become infected with Los Angeles until he joined deathrow, yeah he was with digital underground before that but he wasn't repping Oakland or the bay as hard as when he arrived to LA

What's funny and ironic is

1. Cam hates his early work with Un and says they were trying to make him make Biggie music

2. Dipset (mainly Jim) had issues with Cease/Gutta/Jr Mafia

3. Cam and Charli Baltimore kinda came up together under Un but like...you never see Cam and them work with Kim at all

4. Jay had a lot of issues with them but was Biggie's friend

It's like almost by default they constantly find themselves on the opposite side.

Cam and Mase have both separately said NAS was their favorite rapper.

Label's signing anything, still searching for they Pac
- The Game

I think the labels had a hand in that too, forcing these rappers on that Pac image to sell some records, capitalizing on that man's death.
